Snoring and Sleep Apnea

We have been treating snoring and sleep apnea since Dental sleep medicine was in it’s infancy. One of our old phone numbers was 1-800-SNORING. Obstructive sleep apnea carries significant extended health risks, such as sleep deprivation, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and can reduce life expectancy by 20%. Obstructive sleep apnea often begins at the mouth. Oral functional appliances can be made to improve, or in some cases replace CPAP machines. Medicare will now cover many cases to replace CPAP use in cases that patients cannot tolerate that therapy. Dr. Seal continues to conduct research on Oral Systemic Biology, or Balance. OSB is a change of context in the examination of Oral Function, and it’s relationship to other Health Sciences.
